James Street Gallery (formerly Karingallery) runs as an access studio for artists with disabilities.
It provides studio facilities in drawing, painting, screen printing, fine art printing, ceramics, paper mache, bookwork at mail art. The studio is staffed by qualified and practising artists who give participants the autonomy to choose their projects and work independently, offering support skills and development where appropriate.
The street front space of our studio provides a gallery where artists exhibit their work. We hold eleven shows a year, of which five are exclusively by Karingallery studio artists.
