The new addition to the developing Little Malop Street in Geelong’s CBD, The Arborist, boasts a build designed around the Fraxinus Excelsior Ash tree’s, creating a benchmark of sustainability for bars, cafe’s and restaurants to come.
Attention to detail was paramount to achieve the results they have received, with features such as the stunning ice green marble bar top, Terrazo tiles and olive custom made bench seating.
This beautiful building is accompanied by Head Chef Michael Welsh’s Modern Australian inspired cuisine with subtle Middle-eastern twists, a similar offering to their sister venue ‘Zigfrids Dining Hall & Bar’. Michael has spent the majority of the past six years working alongside James White (Scorched Restaurant & Bellbrae Estate). Michaels approach is local, simple and sustainable, offering a relatively small menu with daily specials.
The beverage list has been carefully curated to offer a little of everything, incorporating a wide variety of craft beers, cocktails and a wine list, developed to complement Michaels food offering.
Incorporating all elements the outcome is a slick, stylish building design offering you your after-work drinks to daily lunch and dinner dining experience.
